UI design has been a side hobby of mine so here is a what if redesign for the iconic RPG Shin Megami Tensei.

The goal here was the give a couple quality of life updates like adding the strengths and weaknesses on the status screen (in the original that was in a separate menu) as well as add a optimize gear option on the equipment screen.
For the look I wanted the keep the retro feel while keeping the roots grounded in the original like using the original sprite's in the party screen or having the icons be references to future SMT works.
